The College of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University (PVM) invites applications for a part-time emergency critical care clinician for the Emergency Service at Purdue University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment facilities.
Candidates must have a DVM or equivalent degree from an AVMA accredited school. Candidates must be eligible for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Indiana. Experience in an emergency practice is desirable. The successful candidate will be primarily involved in providing service, but may become involved in ongoing clinical research. The clinical teaching of veterinary students, interns, and residents is a component of this position.
Candidates must demonstrate a sincere interest in providing outstanding clinical service, must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to effectively supervise hospital staff. Salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience. A background check is required for employment by the University.

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an AVMA accredited program.
Indiana licensure and federal accreditation.
