We are looking for a Small Animal Surgeon to join our busy, state of the art hospital in the heart of Summerlin, a beautiful and vibrant community nestled between Red Rock Conservation Area and the Las Vegas Strip. We are the only specialty hospital serving the Las Vegas community and surrounding areas, which means you will never be bored. You will be joining four other surgeons at a hospital that has been doing specialty surgery for over 10 years. We have a veterinary specific 1.5 T MRI, a 16 slice CT scanner, two arthroscopy towers, fluoroscopy, and 6 operating rooms between our main facility and our northern satellite clinic. We have an on-site board certified anesthesiologist, experienced and licensed technicians and a well-established surgical internship program to help manage cases. You will be part of a team of specialists including two internal medicine specialists, three oncologists, a cardiologist, a neurologist, an ophthalmologist, a certified canine rehabilitation practitioner, nine emergency doctors and two critical care specialists. We offer a competitive compensation package with a generous allotment of paid time off, health, dental and vision insurance, 401k, license, dues and PLIT reimbursement, annual CE allowance and a moving stipend.

Over 2 million people call Las Vegas home. It boasts a diverse population, affordable living, family- oriented communities, low traffic congestion, an international airport, an NHL team and in the near future, NFL and WNBA teams. It has hundreds of miles of trails and parks, with Red Rock Conservation Area just minutes from its western edge and Mount Charleston just 20 minutes to the north. Obviously, no place tops Las Vegas in the entertainment and dining scene but as a local, you can experience it to a whole new level. Interested parties should send their cover letters and CVs to dmason@lvvsc.com. Visit our websites at www.lvvsc.com and www.vecc24.com to learn more about our facilities.
