Sedona AG Services is seeking a Swine Veterinarian for an exciting role with an emerging Animal Health company. Ideally located in southern Minnesota, Iowa, Western Illinois or northern Missouri, this individual would be responsible for veterinary support of products, evaluations and services to the commercial swine industry in the United States. The Swine Veterinarian will have key face-to-face interaction with customers to communicate the technical, production and economic rationale of all services provided by the company. As an integral team member of a sales and technical organization, the Swine Veterinarian will train and maximize our field force's knowledge of pig care, enteral nutrition, intestinal immune function and swine production methods.
Required job related candidate qualifications for the Swine Veterinarian:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent
5 years or more industry experience in practice or production systems
Required technical skills for the Swine Veterinarian
Strong analytical thinking, problem solving skills, and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with various stakeholders
Utilizing excellent presentation skills and appropriate tools to conduct educational briefings to both external and internal customers
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft office suite and ability to learn internal systems
Ability to collaborate and effectively work within cross-functional teams
Strong relationship building skills
