We are a mixed animal veterinary clinic located in rural Northwest Arkansas. We have a 4500 square foot small animal clinic furnished with three exam rooms, treatment area, surgery suite, digital radiology room, treatment, grooming, boarding and isolation kennel. We also have an enclosed, attached barn for cattle and horses. The barn is furnished with a tilting hydraulic chute with a crowding tub, ob tub with head gate, holding pens for the cattle. We also have 2 horse stalls and a set of Equine stalks. We currently have three full time veterinarians on staff. We provide medicine and surgery to small, large and exotic animals. We provide routine and emergency farm calls. Our animal clientele continues to grow. Our veterinarians work 4 1/2 days per week. They also take after hours call on a rotational basis. The position is full time.

The St. Francis Veterinary Clinic is a busy 50% small animal, 35% cattle, and 15% equine practice seeking 1 associates to add to our team. Though mixed animal interest would be a plus, small animal associates will also be considered. This practice is one-of-a-kind, featuring: a brand new facility as of 2007, fully equipped with radiography, ultrasound, CBC/ Chem/ UA, indoor hydraulic chute/tilt table, cow OB chute, equine stocks, and stalls in a heated barn; 3 exam rooms and 2 treatment/dental prophylaxis tables; surgery suite with windows looking out to a country view; and more! In addition to routine small animal preventative health care and surgery, we routinely perform orthopedic surgeries and work up challenging medicine cases. Carroll County, Arkansas, is one of the top 200 counties in the nation in numbers of beef cows, with both spring and fall calving seasons. The equine cases consist of reproduction, power floating, lameness, lacerations, and minor surgery. We also examine goats, sheep, pigs, as well as lions, tigers, and bears at a loca...l wildlife refuge. Our staff creates a fun, Christ-centered environment in which to work.
