Veterinarian wanted for a well-established, currently 5-doctor, mixed animal practice in northern New York. Several of our veterinarians have retired after long careers here in Watertown. We are looking for an ambitious small animal veterinarian. We practice high quality medicine in a home-town atmosphere.

Employment details include a newly renovated hospital with Impromed Infinity software, digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, high speed dental unit, and full in-house IDEXX lab, and more.  Lots of mentoring and support available and a friendly, experienced support staff.  We have shared on-call service with 5 other local practices, so on-call is minimal.  There are also several 24-hour emergency clinics less than an hour away in the Syracuse area.  Opportunities are available to develop your interests – ultrasound, physical therapy, dentistry, etc.

Watertown is close to the St. Lawrence river, Lake Ontario, the Adirondacks, and we are only 30 minutes from the Canadian border.  It is a great area for outdoor sports enthusiasts as year-round recreation abounds.  Hunting, fishing, snow sports, watersports, hiking, camping … the list goes on.  Watertown is a small city with a stable economy due to the nearby Army base at Fort Drum.  We are also an easy drive to Syracuse, Albany and Rochester. New graduates are welcome to apply.  Salary will be dependent on experience and species. Straight salary and Pro-Sal are considered and can be renegotiated after 6 months.  Benefits include, but are not limited to, paid C.E., health insurance, 401(k) and profit sharing, paid vacation, and potential for future partnership.

Come visit and see for yourself! If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Dr. Rebecca Reynolds, Watertown Animal Hospital, L.L.P., 1445 Washington St., Watertown, N.Y. 13601; phone 315-788-1711, or fax 315-788-2930, or email.  Visit our website at www.watertownpetcare.com or our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/WatertownAnimalHosp/.

General small animal practice focused on dog and cat care.  Ambitious, motivated, hard working, and pleasant to work with.  Ability to work well with others necessary.  Ability to multitask and good handwriting are a plus!

NOTES:
3 openings.

Additional Salary Information: Starting salary based on experience and species, Flat salary or pro-sal considered. Re-negotable after 6 months. Benefits are NOT included in salary calculation.
