Perfect Opportunity for a Certified Veterinary Technician seeking employment at a Veterinary Hospital. Candidate needs to have a positive, outgoing and up-beat personality and be able to multi-task in a team environment. We are an established 9 doctor small-animal practice committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care and client education. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Experience and Education:

  • High School graduate

  • Preferred graduate of an accredited veterinary medicine program recommended or working experience as a technician in a companion animal hospital, is helpful

  • State certification, preferred

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Must understand and have a good working knowledge of job related technology, medical terms, and procedures

  • Must have the ability to work independently, follow instructions, work well with others, and give attention to detail

  • Must possess general computer skills and be able to operate the organization’s computer programs
