Progressive, AAHA accredited small animal hospital has an opening for an experienced, energetic Veterinarian licensed in or eligible for licensing in the state of Maryland. The ideal candidate should be outgoing with good communication skills and comfortable dealing with clients in a variety of situations.  The candidate will work full or part-time with a team of professional, highly skilled Veterinarians and support personnel in a modern hospital environment.   

The hospital employs numerous support staff including front office personnel, veterinary technicians, and veterinary assistants to help with doctor efficiency and client needs, while two veterinary emergency centers in the area provide critical care and emergency coverage as needed.  After hours care is limited and usually involves phone advice only.  The hospital has an excellent reputation in the local area with an emphasis on strong staff development and long-term employment.

Three Notch Veterinary Hospital was established in 1979 in scenic St. Mary's County, Maryland, and is located on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay with close proximity to two world class metropolitan areas, the finest shopping and dining, and a large array of outdoor activities.We are a 10 doctor practice with a main hospital and a satellite, Park Veterinary Clinic, approximately 7 miles away.We were the first hospital in the County to be AAHA accredited, and the first hospital to have board certified veterinarians (ABVP).We are a progressive hospital that is very client service driven.
