Midland Animal Clinic seeks an Associate Veterinarian for Weekend Urgent Care
Midland Animal Clinic is an AAHA accredited, full service, small animal clinic located in the Michigan Great Lakes Bay Region. We are 100% paperless, and have a full array of diagnostic tools including digital x-ray, Sedivue, full IDEXX in-house laboratory, and UltraSound for those veterinarians who are comfortable using any/all of this equipment.
This weekend position is an excellent opportunity for the veterinarian who would like to make extra money, is semi-retired, wants to keep up their skills, or augment another part time job. It is NOT fast-paced ER work, but rather urgent care cases including: bee stings, ear infections, GI issues, workups, and euthanasias (Depending on skill level, surgery is also an option). For more complex and advanced cases, we refer to a local full-service ER.
1 weekend a month | Saturday 9 am - 6 pm, Sunday 11am - 6 pm | No over-night, or middle-of-the-night cases | Closed on holiday weekends | 2 LVT's/assistants with 1 other staff member on-call if needed
All experience levels are welcome to apply - Including confident new graduates!
