Would you like to manage a veterinary practice and be compensated in the same way that practice owners are paid? Westerville Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full time Veterinary Practice Manager.
Duties will include: staff (development, maintenance, computer training, communication, interaction, records, safety, benefits, payroll); accounts receivable; income reconciliation; credit policies; accounts payable; inventory; financial reporting; budgeting; purchasing; fee setting; patient medical records; medical knowledge; hospital medical logs; client service; client communication; client interaction; client grief protocol; client education; client education programs; client/patient/staff comfort; professional liaison; and community involvement.
Compensation will be based upon a percentage of the practice's gross. A certification in veterinary practice management (CVPM) is strongly recommended for this demanding and rewarding position. Interested applicants can respond to Dr. Damian Giancola at the attached email.
This job is a full time commitment and can be an amazing fit for the right type of person, but could also be a nightmare for the wrong person. Successful applicants will have methods of planning and scheduling that allow them time to be productive, but also allows time for rest--complete rest. If the applicant is slowly drained by interacting with people all day, or is disorganized, then this is not the job for them
Additional Salary Information: Salary will increase as the practice gross. Percentage of practice gross will depend on amount of roles taken on and profit margin of the practice, but is typically 2-4% of practice gross.
Internal Number: 4A
