Frost Family Pet Clinic is looking for a full time (32-34 hours/wk) or part time veterinarian to join our team in Northern Illinois.
We strive for relaxed, comfortable visits for people and their pets. We are a laid-back, collegial, detail-oriented team of doctors and credentialed technicians. Our entire team is Fear Free certified.
Our workdays typically run from 8:30am-12:30pm and 2pm-6pm. We staff 1 doctor on Saturday mornings 8-12. No emergencies, no overnight hospitalization.
We believe in modern, quality, well maintained equipment and our clinic has been recently remodeled. We have digital radiography, digital dental radiography, high speed dental equipment, a class 4 therapy laser, in-house blood analyzers, digital tonometry, cryotherapy, doppler blood pressure, and full anesthetic monitoring equipment including an IV fluid warmer.
We utilize SOAP format computerized records and a master problem list for each patient. We have a team of 5 formally trained, experienced, certified, and licensed CVTs on staff to support our doctors.
We are looking for a doctor who is kind to animals and people and enjoys daily surgery and/or dentistry. Quality general practice surgery (spays, neuters, splenectomy, pyometra, foreign body removal, etc.) is a must. Skill in orthopedics and advanced procedures is not required.
Benefits include $1000 for CE, DEA Licensure Fee, VIN membership, GRVMA, ISVMA, AVMA, and PLITT dues. “No strings attached” signing bonus of $2000 cash for the new doctor moving to or living in the local area. Our clinic provides health insurance!
References (doctors, staff members, neighboring veterinarians, and industry reps) are available upon request.
We are a neighborhood, small animal clinic with the goal of providing or helping provide to access the level of care our clients desire, ranging from “the basics” to the highest level of specialty surgery and medicine. We believe in teamwork, both within our clinic and as a part of the regional veterinary community. As such, we have worked hard to establish and maintain solid relationships with a network of clinics and specialty hospitals that can be utilized for optimal care for our patients.
