We are looking for a 4th associate in our 5 doctor practice. The practice is ambulatory only with each doctor being supplied with a truck and all equipment necessary to perform all the tasks required of them. We have excellent mentoring and work together with each other regardless of seniority.
You should be self motivated but also able to work in a group environment since we all regularly share ideas and collaborate on cases whenever necessary or desired. Cases of your choosing will be discussed during rounds which are typically held Wednesday mornings. If you don't want to wait for rounds, there is always one of us to refer to. If you like to work alone, that's excellent as most of us prefer this most of the time.
Equipment includes company supplied digital X-ray and ultrasound machines so you don't have to wait for someone else to let you use "the" machine. We have an endoscope and gastroscope, portable microchip readers, SAA readers and too many other things to list. Of course we have computers for each truck to look up records and record findings and instructions.
On call schedule is 5pm Friday night through 6am Monday morning once everyevery 4 to 6 weekends and 2 nights per week.
After the first year, our doctors generally work a 4 day work week with extra days off following the weekend on call.
