About Lien Animal Clinic
Lien Animal Clinic was established as one of the first veterinary hospitals in West Seattle in 1951. Since that time, our goal at Lien Animal Clinic has been to provide the best possible medical and surgical care to our patients and for our clients. We offer a wide range of diagnostics and therapies in addition to providing preventative care. Lien Animal Clinic is currently home to eight veterinarians. Our medical director, Dr. Timothy Kraabel, is currently the only veterinarian in Seattle to be ABVP boarded in Canine and Feline Practice. All appointments are scheduled with a specific doctor in order to encourage strong doctor-client relationships. We place a high importance on communication and collaboration between doctors and staff and hold regular meetings to discuss cases and continuing education topics. We feel doctors can function best when backed by an efficient, well-trained staff, and have a high staff to doctor ratio.
Our facility was constructed in 2009 and has approximately 4,000 square feet on two floors with the waiting room, 5 exam rooms, an out-patient treatment area, and isolation downstairs. Office space, surgery, special procedures, boarding & hospita...l wards, ICU and the main treatment area are located upstairs. The practice has state of the art equipment including digital dental x-ray, in house lab equipment, a tonopen, digital radiography, laser surgery, cold therapy laser, a chemotherapy hood, platelet rich plasma centrifuge, and an ultrasound machine. The hospital uses Impromed Infinity software for paperless medical records.
