Our growing, progressive hospital is seeking a motivated and upbeat Associate Veterinarian - open to new grads or seasoned associates. The ideal candidate for this job would possess a strong work ethic while demonstrating a natural ability to lead, inspire and help grow our practice and patient base. We are a paperless practice using cloud-based software, therefore computer comfort and interest working with current technology is required. We want our doctors to possess exemplary communication skills and the ability to inspire those around them in order to achieve the hospital's goals. We currently offer care to dogs, cats, avians, exotics, pocket pets as well as offering TCVM to the same patient base. We would love to find an associate with a passion for one of these or another specialty area of veterinary practice to continue to expand our offerings to our clients.
This candidate can expect to work among a fantastic group of skilled, cheerful and hard-working individuals. Our team consists of 5 veterinarians and about 20 veterinary healthcare professionals (LVTs, assistants and CSRs). In addition to the salary, we offer further compensation through a generous benefits package.
We are a 2 location practice located on the northwestern aspect of the Olympic Peninsula of Washington state. We diligently strive to provide high-quality pet healthcare in a family-friendly and affordable way for our clients. Our hospitals have been growing in a consistent yet rapid pace, and therefore we feel our focus and approach have been well-received by the community. We have recently invested in hospital facility upgrades and renovations (final stages taking place currently on our second location), adding new exam rooms as well as new technology to help us achieve our goals. We have digital radiography, dental capability with digital dental rad equipment, surgery suites, ultrasound, in-house lab equipment etc. at both locations.
Our beautiful community (Port Townsend and Jefferson County) is well-known regionally for its Victorian seaport, artistic spirit, maritime/boating heritage and its strong local organic agriculture industry. It is situated very near the Olympic National Forest and Olympic National Park, providing ample outdoor recreation opportunities. We are also close to the cultural attractions of Seattle. Because of these attributes, the community has been recognized on several national surveys as one of the best small towns in the country to live in.
Additional Salary Information: Flexible and based on experience. Open to salary with benefits package, pro-sal or pure production setup options.
Our small animal practice has been in existence since the 1970s and has been under the current ownership and management for the last 6 years. Our leadership team consisting of co-owners and our practice manager have been working diligently for the past two years to grow our team of superstars with a focus on excellent client service. We are now hoping to add additional veterinarians to our team to... support the need for more clinical hours available to our patients and clients. We seek to enhance the human-animal bond that enriches the lives of our clients and our own lives.
