Wanted Full-Time Veterinarian with Excellent Communication Skills
Crosslake, Minnesota - We are seeking a confident, compassionate, highly-skilled, and hard-working full-time veterinarian to join our healthcare team. The applicant must be a self-starter who is dependable, energetic, and willing to teach and learn. Excellent client service and high-level communication skills are required.
Crosslake Veterinary Hospital is located in Crosslake, Minnesota, on the beautiful Whitefish Chain of lakes, in the heart of lake country. The region is known for its gorgeous, clear lakes, abundant wildlife and fishing opportunities, and ongoing winter activities with nearby snowmobile trails.
We are a busy two veterinarian practice that practices progressive, evidence-based medicine on companion animals and a small percentage of small/large ruminants. The applicant will enjoy working in our beautiful and fully equipped facility with our fun, energetic and passionate staff. Our busy practice provides plenty of opportunity for exciting new professional challenges, while also focusing on maintaining excellent client and patient service. We utilize digital dental and full body radiology, ultrasound, and IDEXX in-house laboratory equipment on a daily basis to provide the best care for our patients, and are able to offer extensive orthopedic and soft tissue surgical capabilities while working alongside specialist surgeons who travel to our facility when needed.
New graduates are welcome to apply and can expect to receive mentorship from the existing veterinarians. Focused, quality continuing education in ultrasound will be provided in the first year. The applicant must be willing to share on-call emergency equally between the existing two veterinarians. Some interest in practicing with small/large ruminants would be appreciated but is not a requirement. Compensation is salary-based with additional emergency pay and full benefits.
