Candidate should have strong communications skills, be personable and patience, good client communication and education skills, problem solving skills, organized, detail oriented, self motivated, able to prioritize, be flexible and able to work in a busy work environment. Should be able to perform general technician duties along with a variety of lab tests, take radiographs, provide general patient and surgery monitoring, place catheters, perform client education, go over estimates, and other duties as needed. Should be able to lift at least 30- 50 pounds and gently restrain animals. Hours are flexible but must be able to work every weekend and minimum of 40 hours per week (5 days on and 2 days off) Must be able to attend paid mandatory CE classes, conferences and be able to participate in community events.

This hospital was established in 1984 and has been a growing hospital since the beginning. We believe in using available technology to provide the best medicine possible. We have a full in house lab, ultrasound, dental machines, digital x-ray machine electrocautery unit, 2 large surgery suites, multiple full scale monitors and anesthesia machines, isolation room, portable oxygen cage, Snyder ICU machine, 2 ICU isolettes, with facility to house up to 34 sick patients. We have a large waiting room splint into two sections to divide dogs and cats. We are open 7 days a week with doctors sharing weekends. The average work week is 40 - 55 hours per week. The community is supportive and we pull clients in from as far as 50 miles away.
