Cheyenne Pet Clinic is looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team. We are an AAHA accredited practice, the oldest and largest veterinary practice in Cheyenne, and we are seeking an individual who is willing to uphold our ideals for exceptional client service and patient care.

About the Position:

This posting is for a full-time DVM, though part-time may be considered as well. Our practice is a currently thriving six full-time doctor practice seeking to expand further. We have the caseload and clientele to currently support eight doctors. We strive for professional client interactions, customer service, outstanding patient care, exceptional medicine and diagnostics, as well as a harmonious work environment with our staff. Experienced doctors as well as new graduates will be considered. For new graduates, we have senior doctors who are willing and wanting to provide a training program, support, and mentorship to help you in becoming the doctor you would like to be and find your place in the profession.  In return, we expect your drive, enthusiasm, fresh knowledge, and desire to learn and grow.  We expect our doctors to respect the history of the practice as well as its efficiency and set-up while also presenting new ideas and bringing their own personality and style to the mix. The majority of our staff are friends outside of work, we strive for a cohesive team, and we all try to teach and encourage each other. We also thrive on comedy, fun, doing the absolute best we can, learning from our mistakes, and having a high standard while also not taking ourselves too seriously.  We are a family of sorts. We also have regular staff and department meetings as well as food days, fun themed days, etc.

This is a busy practice with a high caseload for surgeries and appointments.  We are an exclusively small animal practice that also sees some pet exotic patients. We do some wildlife rehabilitation as well and have resident teaching hawks living on the property, not to mention the clinic pet rat!  We also work closely with specialists in Colorado, we have a traveling orthopedic surgeon who works with us, and we have a internal medicine/radiology specialist who routinely consults and performs ultrasounds and echocardiograms for us.  Our new doctor hire will be also gradually transitioned into our shared on-call rotations, and all of our doctors are willing to consult and offer input for our colleagues’ on call cases.

We also use state of the art equipment. We offer digital imaging, ultrasound, dental radiographs, CO2 laser, video otoscope, electrocautery, in house laboratory equipment, Companion laser therapy, and acupuncture. We are also an almost exclusively paperless practice. Cheyenne Pet Clinic strives to be progressive in the equipment we have but also continuing education/training of employees. We have numerous skilled technicians and receptionists to help doctors be the most efficient and productive they can be, and typically have about 30 employees on staff.

We also offer a competitive pay package and benefits package.  Our ideal doctor has an exceptional drive/work ethic, desire to learn lifelong, great communication skills, can mold seamlessly into a team environment, and also brings new ideas/discussions to the table.

Please inquire if you think you might be a good fit for our team!
