About Veterinary Management Incorporated
VMI is a locally owned and privately held veterinary group that develops new high-quality animal hospitals in the Charlotte, NC metro area. We put our people above profits and emphasize a positive culture in everything we do.We build community-based and culture-driven veterinary practices. Most veterinary clinics fall into one of two categories: those owned by an individual DVM, or those owned by a remote corporate interest. This leaves veterinarians with the frustrating choice of working for another doctor who may or may not have great business, administration, or leadership skills, or working for a large corporation that is out of touch with the community and culture of the practice. As a family-owned general practice management company, VMI offers a better model. Our leadership team is able to leverage both veterinary and business expertise in a local context to build successful community-based hospitals with high rates of career satisfaction and loyalty. If you’ve been looking for a better way to practice veterinary medicine without sacrificing your sanity or soul, we’d love to hear from you.
