Established  4 Doctor practice looking for a full time Veterinarian to replace retiring Doctor. We practice high quality medicine to our loyal clientele for over 35 years. Jasper is a mid-sized town with small town values, nestled in the piney woods of East Texas. Lake Sam Rayburn, the biggest lake in Texas and the Angelina National Forest are only a 15-minute drive making Jasper “The Jewel of the Forest.”

 

Practice type:  Mixed Animal – Small Animal Predominant

 

Hospital:  6000 SQ FT with 5 exam rooms, 2 Surgery suites, Large treatment and prep area, Radiology room, Indoor AC/heated kennels, Isolation room, Large waiting room, Large covered barn with turnaround and squeeze chute, Equine center with 2 stocks and a padded recovery stall.

 

Equipment:  Heska Element HT5, Element DC and Element i; Idexx UA analyzer, New ultrasound, Digital X-ray, ISO and SEVO anesthesia, Electrocautery, Cryosurgery, Tonopen, IV pumps, Nasogastric scope and Computerized records capability.

 

Hours and Staff:  Hours are 8-5 Monday-Friday with a 4 day work week.  One week of emergency duty every 3-4 weeks. Currently have 3 veterinarians and 1 retiring veterinarian, 1 office manager, 3 receptionists, 1 licensed veterinary technician, 4 veterinary assistants, and 2 kennel assistants.

 

Compensation: 

Salary commensurate upon experience / plus collected Emergency fees, 2 weeks vacation, Health and liability insurance, Continuing education allowance, AVMA/TVMA dues, DEA, SEP, 2 Sick days per qtr, Cell phone,Work vehicle provided for out call transportation.

(Over 105,000.00 package)
