We are a well-established 2 doctor small animal hospital located in beautiful Mount Airy NC. We are looking to grow and have a third associate join our team! We pride ourselves in our loyal client base that is driven by our high level of care and attention. We have digital radiography,enodoscope,ultrasound and in house Idexx Lab station. Our senior doctor is looking to slow down so buy in options is a possibility.
Examine and treat animals on a first-come, first serve basis as well as by appointment
Cultivate positive relationships with customers and their animals through regular communication and excellent record-keeping
Prioritize traumatic injuries and serious illnesses to ensure that all animals receive time-sensitive care
Educate clients on the importance of vaccinations, heartworm treatments, flea and tick treatments and other aspects of preventive care
Perform or assist with surgeries
Train new veterinary assistants and other members of the support staff
Veterinarian Skills and Qualifications:
Current DVM with NC license or can obtain one quickly.
Working knowledge of digital radiography,
Dedication to long-term employment with our hospital

Enthusiastic attitude with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and staff.
Ability to work alongside our in-house laboratory and pharmacy
Benefits of Veterinarian:
Salary and hours are commensurate with experience and professional needs
Salary: $75,000.00 to $95,000.00 /year
CE allowance and other benefits offered in addition to the base pay
401 Retirement plan
Current NC license or can obtain one quickly.
