We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team. As the perfect candidate you will possess a good sense of humor, be client-centric, compassionate, and enthusiastic. We offer flexible work schedules, base salary with production compensation. Our generous benefit package includes health coverage, paid time off, 401k, continuing education allowance, as well as AVMA and CVMA dues, plus a $25,000 signing bonus!
Located in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, our beautiful 4200 square-foot, AAHA Accredited Hospital, is located in Diamond Springs, in the area of Placerville, California, affectionately known as Old Hangtown. The area is rich in Gold Rush history and surrounded by some of the best wineries California has to offer. No matter how you like to play, it is all just a short drive away. Scenic Lake Tahoe, Sacramento, and UC Davis are an hour away, and San Francisco is an easy two and a half hour drive.
Established in 2000, our practice provides our cream-of-the-crop clientele and their pets with the very best of care. We have the complete, updated line of Idexx in-house analyzers along with the new ImageVue DR50 digital imaging system, a new Universal S9 Ultrasound, and we use Sevoflurane in all of our anesthesia machines. Because of our amazing staff and a high staff-to-doctor ratio, you may focus on examination, diagnosing, treating, surgery, and client communication - all while your team takes care of the rest. Are you interested in advancing your surgical and ultrasound skills in addition to general surgery and patient care? If so, this is the hospital for you. After our recent inspection, Dr. Howard of the California Veterinary Medical Board kindly wrote, "You have a beautiful practice and an awesome staff. It was a pleasure to do your inspection. It always makes me feel good about our profession when I see it done right." Simply said, if providing best medicine in a well-run, low-stress, team environment is in line with your goals, we look forward to making your acquaintance!
