We specialize in spaying/neutering and giving core vaccinations to pets for low income pet owners, rescue organizations and Municipal Animal Control agencies in Connecticut. We've done over 40,000 animals in the 10 years we've been in Connecticut. We are a certified 501c3 non-profit organization under Connecticut Coalition for Animals.
New HOPE Clinic is seeking veterinarians to join our practice. Doctors must enjoy surgery and be able perform safe, high quality spay/neuter procedures on cats and dogs. We welcome any skilled surgeon who is interested in learning more about high volume spay/neuter techniques. High volume is not expected upon inital hiring, we are open to lower volume days.
WHAT WE ARE:
As a low cost spay/neuter clinic we do not do any pre-operative bloodwork/diagnositics.
We perform early age spay/neuter.
We have a friendly, flexible team approach where each staff member is valued.
No nights or weekends and client interactions are limited.
We have a skilled and experienced surgical team.
REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a Connecticut State Veterinary License.
DEA license preferred but not required.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Must be able to perform safe, high quality spay/neuter procedures.
Polite and professional work attitude at all times.
Good communication skills.
DUTIES:
Perform a brief pre surgical exam on all spay/neuter patients.
Address basic health concerns of surgical patients.
Perform the sterilization procedure on cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies.
Perform occasional rechecks and wellness appointments.

New HOPE Clinic is a certified non-profit organization that provides low-cost spay/neuter services to CT residents and the rescue community. We are CT’s leader in Spay/Neuter for both cats and dogs: nearly 40,000 animals have visited our clinic! We are a high volume clinic, performing 25-30 surgeries on most surgical days. We are not a full service veterinary hospital and do not provide full service vet care. We specialize in spay/neuter surgeries of healthy, young animals and provide basic vaccinations at the time of surgery. Our goal is to stop over population and provide a low cost option for responsible pet owners who are struggling financially.
