We are seeking a full time Associate Veterinarian to become a part of our strong Shelter Medicine team. This long-term partner will be dedicated to upholding our mission to create a more humane and responsible community by eliminating animal suffering while increasing human compassion.
Under the direction of the Medical Director, the professional selected will be responsible for providing a variety of animal healthcare duties, including:
Performing medical examinations, surgeries, and assisting in the monitoring of the health and welfare of animals in the care of the shelter. Performing spays and neuters on our adoptable pets. Providing care to injured animals and wildlife as needed.

About Montgomery County SPCA
The Montgomery County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a nonprofit organization dedicated to caring for unwanted, lost and abused domestic animals. Established in 1909 and chartered in 1916, the Montgomery County SPCA (in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania), has three locations. The Conshohocken facility houses the administrative offices as well as small domestic animals. The Perkiomenville facility includes a horse farm along with facilities for small animals. Our newest facility for small domestic animals is in Abington.
