“It takes a really special person to do this type of work, but I think there are a lot of veterinarians who already have the heart to serve people and their pets in a compassionate way. This job is so rewarding, to help people during a difficult time at the end of their pet’s life and to be appreciated by clients so regularly. It’s also rewarding to be a part of a dynamic team where we are valued as individuals and care for one another. We change and grow together as we create paths in this new area of veterinary medicine focusing on end-of-life care.” Dr. Kelly Knoll
