For over 40 years SICSA Pet Adoption Center has been promoting the welfare and adoption of companion animals, and nurturing loving, lifelong relationships between animals and people. We are the Society for the Improvement of Conditions for Stray Animals or SICSA, and we are looking for like minded people to join our team!

In 2020 we will be moving to a brand new facility and are looking to add extra support staff to our already robust clinic. In our new facility we will be able to serve even more pets in the most need. If you are looking to join a positive team, are compassionate and caring, and want to make an impact on the animal community than SICSA may be the place for you!

SICSA currently performs over 4,300 spays and neuters yearly in our high quality high volume spay neuter clinic. We adopt out over 1,900 pets annually through our adoption center.  And we see hundreds of owned pets monthly for wellness care that their owners would otherwise not be able to afford.

We are looking for someone who is interested in working in all capacities of our shelter clinic including high volume spay/neuter, community wellness and medicine for our adoptable pets.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed Veterinarian in the State of Ohio or acquire license prior to hire date.
  • Ability to work standing or sitting for 8 + hours a day
  • Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of care
  • Flexibility to handle stressful situations in a constructive manner
  • Willingness and ability  to provide guidance to other staff members
