Our 6-doctor, multi-location, mixed-animal practice is looking to add an experienced small animal OR mixed animal veterinarian.  We offer great benefits:  4-day work week, health insurance, PLIT, licensing, CE, paid time off, 401K, uniforms, paid short-term disability, paid life insurance, etc.  However, the biggest benefit is that you would be working at an awesome place with great equipment and the ability to excel in any aspect of practice.  Our staff and techs are smart, hard-working and are great at Doctor support.  They are really great at what they do and we have a very friendly, relaxed, family-like atmosphere.  However, let’s be real, this is a veterinary hospital, sometimes it gets crazy, we get a little stressed out, but we all work hard and have each other’s back.

The most important thing we are looking for is someone who truly cares about clients and their animals.  We go further than the extra mile for our clients, which is what has and will continue to set us apart.  Client communication is crucial and we are looking for someone who can effectively read and communicate with any and every type of client who brings in any species of animal.  Our hospital is located in a fantastic town that loves and supports our practice.  We are right on the edge between suburban and rural living and are located within 20 minutes of anything you like to do for fun.

Our clientele allows us to practice excellent high-quality medicine, dentistry and surgery on all species and we have the equipment to support it.  In-house blood machines, high-end digital X-ray and ultrasound, complete soft-tissue and orthopedic surgical equipment and pretty much any piece of equipment you would need (cautery, laser, thermal imaging camera and more).  We perform tons of surgery here.  We do advanced soft tissue and ortho surgeries (fractures, TPLOs, TTAs, etc.). You would have the opportunity to learn these skills if interested, but they are not required. We work up and manage all difficult medicine cases in house and we also will see any emergency during hours. We maintain great relationships with surrounding practices and rescues that increase our medicine and surgical caseload as well.

The ideal candidate would have an open mind for treating all species (we see lots of exotics too) with a zest for continued learning and growth in all disciplines.  All you have to do is work hard and keep trying to become a better veterinarian.  Most importantly, you just need to care about people and their animals.

In all seriousness, if you like helping people and animals and you want to work in a fun place that delivers exceptional customer service while still maintaining the best standard of care possible with all the newest equipment and diagnostics, then this job is for you.  We work hard, practice good medicine and we have a ton of fun.

Oh, and the big question...pay?  Salary is dependent on experience and abilities, but it's good and the more you want to work the more you can make.  With multiple locations, extra hours and pay would be available if desired.

Check out our web page, facebook, instagram and google reviews to get a better feel of our practice.

Requirements:  Be a good person.  Be smart.  Smile.  Have a good work ethic.  Also, you need a valid veterinary license...
