Veterinary Referral Associates (VRA) has an outstanding opportunity for a board certified or residency trained Dentist to join our full service, 24-hour emergency and specialty referral practice in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

VRA, which boasts a rich history as one of the first specialty-only veterinary hospitals in the country, has been supplying top-notch specialty and emergency care to pets in the Greater Washington DC area for nearly four decades. As our reputation has grown over the years, so has our hospital. Our expansive hospital, which comprises over 30,000 square feet, offers leading edge resources and an experienced and knowledgeable staff.  In order to complement your skill set, you’ll have access to a dedicated team consisting of the following specialties: internal medicine, surgery, oncology, anesthesiology, emergency/critical care, radiology, and ophthalmology.

Being advocates of the philosophy “work hard, play hard,” we are uniquely situated in a location that will allow you to partake in all of the attractions, activities, and culture that life in the Greater Washington DC area has to offer. From the free museums of the Smithsonian, to canoeing down the Potomac, to riding your bike to Pittsburgh on the C&O canal, recreational pursuits are readily available. Additionally, the bustling night life of Georgetown offers restaurants, great music, and unlimited opportunities for socializing. One can live in the city or on a farm and still be within easy commuting distance of our hospital’s front door.

We offer a competitive salary and complete benefits package with health and disability insurance, 401k, generous CE, PTO, and reimbursement for membership dues and license fees.  For more information, or a confidential career discussion, please apply online at www.petvetcareers.com or email your resume to Dr. Shelly Wazyniak at swazyniak@petvetcarecenters.com.
