Montecito Veterinary Center has been part of the Sonoma County community since 1967. We provide services ranging from annual checkups and dentistry, to diagnostics and surgery for dogs, cats, birds and exotics! We are searching for an enthusiastic veterinarian to join our high performance general practice.  This is a full time position, with flexible hours.  We are happy to consider a new graduate who is ready to hit the ground running!

Our hospital is well equipped for you to be able to provide excellent patient care.  We have in house labs, digital radiology, cold laser therapy, and dental radiology.  We are proud to offer Penn Hip exams.  We have a great staff, and a varied caseload.  Our ideal candidate will enjoy working with our clients as much as the patients, and will be able to work independently.

Montecito Veterinary Center is part of the PetVet Care Centers group. Our goal is to provide veterinarians with hospitals where they can continue to enjoy the feel of a private practice while benefiting from corporate backing.  We do not re-brand.  We leave medical protocol and inventory decisions up to our local DVMs.

A full benefits package compliments the position, with relocation assistance, medical, disability, liability, vision and dental insurance, CE allowance, VIN membership, 401k and generous salary.  For a confidential career discussion, email your CV to lmorrow@petvetcarecenters.com.

Santa Rosa is at the northwestern gateway to the Sonoma and Napa Valleys.  Many wineries and vineyards are nearby, as well as the Russian River resort area, the Sonoma Coast along the Pacific Ocean, Jack London State Historic Park, and the redwood trees of Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve.  Downtown Santa Rosa is an area of shopping, restaurants, nightclubs, and theaters.  The city is about an hour north of San Francisco.

NOTES:
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
