Immediate opening for an ambitious ER Veterinarian to join two rapidly growing emergency hospitals on Long Island. Experienced or internship trained emergency doctors desired. These facilities offer in house CBC/chemistry/urinalysis machines, PT/PTT, Istat, ultrasound, Snyder oxygen cages, state of the art monitoring equipment, digital radiography with board certified review, and two large, fully equipped surgical suites. Hospital has mobile board certified internists, surgeons and CT scan to make sure that their patients receive the highest quality care. Long Island is a wonderful community filled with picturesque beaches, hiking trails, state parks, the famous Hamptons to the east and an easy drive into Manhattan to the west. Hospital offers a very competitive base salary with commission. This type of salary offers an extraordinary opportunity for continued financial growth. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PLIT insurance, 401K, life insurance, long term disability, FSA ( flexible spending account), a $2,500 stipend for CE w/ 3 days off and 2 weeks vacation. Three sick days are also offered. Life/work balance is important to us and thus considered when deciding on scheduling.
