24th Street Animal Clinic is seeking a Medical Director committed to practicing high-quality veterinary medicine and surgery. We are in the downtown area of Omaha, Nebraska, a rapidly growing area in the Midwest. Omaha is home to over 900,000 people and we welcome visitors with open arms and authentic Midwestern hospitality.
Our clinic offers state-of-the art veterinary equipment and facilities as well as a highly trained team of Licensed Veterinary Technicians and Assistants. The clinic is well equipped for general and extensive surgeries and recovery. We also have a dedicated surgery suite, digital x-ray, full laboratory, dental x-ray, ultrasound and laser therapy.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, compassionate and client-oriented veterinarian. Experience and/or an interest in orthopedic surgery, ultrasound, endoscopy and acupuncture is a plus. We take pride in providing excellent client education and customer service.
In addition to leading our practice of medicine, we are also looking for a leader. Our ideal candidate would partner with our Practice Manager to supervise all aspects of the clinic, in addition to supporting and mentoring our Associate Veterinarians. As we continue to grow, we expect 5 DVM’s to call 24th Street their home!
We are also excited to offer a wide variety of benefits in addition to ProSal (22% production), including:
Health, dental, and vision insurance
Short- and long-term disability
Generous paid time off for personal use and to attend continuing education
401(k) with employer match
Sponsored AVMA PLIT
Annual continuing education allowance
Access to employment assistance program
Reimbursement of licensure fees and professional membership dues
State Veterinary Board and DEA Registration required prior to start date. For more information, or to submit a confidential application, please email Alina Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org.
About 24th Street Animal Clinic
Blue River PetCare's mission is to provide a long-term home for local practices that selling owners have worked so hard to build. We are dedicated to retaining the culture of each of our hospitals in addition to the local practice of medicine. We do this by ensuring each hospital has complete medical autonomy with their choice of protocols, therapies, inventory items, vendors and even management software. We also focus on our employees’ health and well-being as much as we do the pets we treat. We would love to hear from you!
