The bottom line… We are a well-established small animal/cow-calf clinic with some equine and small ruminant practice in Mayerthorpe, Alberta (great small town vibe with convenience of mountains, skiing, camping, hiking within 3 hours and the benefits of big city shopping within one hour); with a very busy, primarily small animal, satellite practice in Whitecourt.

We are a group of extremely capable, driven, quick-witted, and sometimes wildly inappropriate individuals who come together during business hours to work as a cohesive team; and after hours as beer pong champions, competitive horticulturists, and family-centered women.

Four doctor, two-clinic mixed animal practice. Annual caseload is approximately 60% small animal, 30% bovine (predominantly cow/calf), and 10% equine/small ruminant with the occasional bird or exotic animal. The primary clinic is located in Mayerthorpe, Alberta with a satellite clinic in Whitecourt, Alberta.
Mayerthorpe is a small town of about 1700 people just over an hour West of Edmonton. Whitecourt is about 20 minutes further Northwest and is a larger center with athletic facilities, sports programs, hiking and skiing trails, shopping and entertainment. Our practice location offers small town atmosphere with the amenities of larger centers close by, as well as the Rocky Mountains only a few hours away.
