The Pet Advocate is a spay/neuter/wellness center that provides surgical and wellness services for healthy pets. We provide affordable spay, neuter, dental and wellness services for local animal rescues, shelters and the general public.  We believe a successful practice is built upon teamwork and a healthy employee culture.

We are looking for a compassionate veterinarian with the desire to provide high quality, affordable care for public, rescue and shelter pets. If you are interested in working with a great team with the ability to care for the many pets in need, please consider The Pet Advocate.

Duties and Responsibilities

-Perform pre-surgical examinations on patients prior to surgery. 

-Safely and efficiently perform spay/neuter procedures. 

-Maintain complete and accurate medical records. 

-Communicate effectively with clients.

-Optional: Perform additional medical procedures such as hernia repair, enucleation, amputation, dew claw removal. 

-Assist with surgical dental extractions. 

 

 Experience/ Qualification/Requirements

-Doctor of Veterinary Medicine-DVM

-2 years experience in small animal practice. 

-Able to safely and efficiently perform high volume, high quality spay and neuter. 

-Maintain personal professional liability insurance. 

Job Type

Full time

-Monday thru Friday 8-5. No after hours, evening duty or on call required. Part time options are available.

Salary

100 k annual salary (full time) plus production bonus.
