Are you a veterinarian who enjoys spending time outdoors?  Do you like to go hiking, biking, camping, boating, fishing, and hunting?  Then Wyoming is a wonderful place for you! Carbon County Veterinary Hospital is a busy 3 doctor mixed animal practice located in Rawlins, Wyoming.  Rawlins is in the south-central portion of our state on a high desert plain. Rawlins is a friendly rural town with a population of about 9,200 people.

We have medical, surgical, dentistry, and emergency care services represented at our facility for both companion and large animals. CCVH is fully equipped to allow each doctor to provide the most optimal patient care.  We emphasize high quality patient and client care. We value the human animal bond and strive for compassionate care and treatment for companion animals. The hospital operates with digital radiology, ultrasonography, endoscopy, therapeutic laser, CO2 laser, In-house Idexx laboratory equipment, and a comprehensive pharmacy and more.

We invest in our clients, staff, and each other so you will be asked to take time to develop these relationships. We are looking for a team player with great communication, medical and surgical skills who can enhance our already dynamic team! The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work cooperatively and enthusiastically with all professional staff, technical staff, and clientele. The successful candidate must possess great communication and interpersonal skills to form outstanding relationships with our clientele as well as possess self-motivation skills with an eye for detail, persistence, and completion of all tasks undertaken. He or she must also have the drive and enthusiasm to learn and grow with the practice. Our dedicated veterinarians and support staff will provide a positive and supportive workplace.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a new graduate to join a well-established practice that nurtures a passion for veterinary medicine and patient/client care. Candidates should have successfully completed their veterinary training and be licensed or eligible for licensing in Wyoming. Any current veterinary licenses must be in good standing. Salary is commensurate with experience of the applicant.  Competitive compensation/benefit package includes association memberships (AVMA, WVMA and another of veterinarian’s choice) and payment of PLIT, WY License, and CE hours with allowance.  Health, dental & vision insurance provided, 401-k.  Practice hours are Monday through Friday (8 a.m.-5:30 p.m.). Additional Salary Information: Salary compensation is based on experience of the applicant. We offer a competitive compensation/benefit package.
About Carbon County Veterinary Hospital
We are a well established mixed animal practice in south central Wyoming. Our hospital offers progressive medicine in a modern, well equipped facility (8,000 sq ft), including an Idexx blood analyser, digital radiology, therapeutic laser, CO2 laser, endoscopy, and ultrasound. We emphasize a comfortable and family oriented workplace. Our staff consists of 3 licensed veterinarians and 9 dedicated and compassionate support staff.
