   The Animal Emergency Center, located in Collinsville Illinois, is hiring full-time and part-time Veterinarians.  We are looking for highly motivated, dedicated, and caring Veterinarians to join our well-trained team.  Our full-service emergency and critical care practice is located 15 minutes east of  St. Louis, Missouri with convenient access to all that a major metropolitan city has to offer.

     Typically, full time associates will work an average of 3 shifts per week with flexible scheduling to allow for excellent work/life balance.  Applicants must be willing to work nights and weekends.  However, both full-time and part-time positions are available with accommodating scheduling. 

     We are offering a $10,000 signing bonus for highly motivated individuals.  We will provide a stipend for student loan repayment for dedicated and motivated recent graduates.

      We offer a competitive salary with production-based bonuses commensurate with experience.  Our comprehensive benefit package for full-time associates typically includes Professional Dues, Professional Licenses, Professional Liability Insurance, Retirement Plan, Vacation, Continuing Education allowance, paid time off for CE, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, dental and vision options, pet care benefits, and uniform allowance.

    Our practice is well equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, multiple parameter and telemetry monitors.  We house a full-service Veterinary Reference Laboratory that provides STAT laboratory testing for our patients as well as services for local referring veterinary hospitals.  We provide hematology, chemistry, endocrinology, coagulation, blood gas, lactate, and additional routine tests.

      We strongly encourage and support continuing education providing multiple opportunities for in-house, local and national CE for our veterinarians, technicians, and nurses.  We have a highly trained and experienced support staff with a high staff to doctor ratio to allow for excellence in care of our emergent and critically ill patients. 

      Our Medical Director has over 30 years of emergency and critical care experience.  All of our Veterinarians welcome the opportunity to mentor new or recent graduates.  New graduates will work closely with one of our experienced Associates.  There will always be an Associate available to provide back-up and support for challenging cases, surgical cases, or during times of high volume.  The Animal Emergency Center sees a large and diverse case load, and sets high standards for emergency and critical care medicine.

About Animal Emergency Center
The Animal Emergency Center is a full service emergency and critical care hospital located in Collinsville , Illinois (15 minutes east of St. Louis , Missouri ) which sets high standards for emergency and critical care medicine. We see a large case load (averaging 350 cases per month) from approximately 50 referring hospitals in the Illinois Metro-East area. We also house a full service Veterinary Reference Laboratory which provides STAT laboratory testing for our patients as well as services for local referring veterinary hospitals.
