We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join our family! We have been proudly serving our community for over 50 years. We are pleased to offer our small animal patients a comprehensive pharmacy, Idexx laboratory, digital radiography, cold laser therapy, orthopedics, and ultrasound all in?house. For our large animal clients we offer dairy herd production medicine, computerized herd health services, emergency coverage, as well as bovine and equine reproductive services with ultrasound.

Shippensburg Animal Hospital is currently looking to bring in an Associate Veterinarian to join the team. The Associate Veterinarian is responsible for medical, surgical and dental procedures performed in the hospital, along with maintaining complete and accurate medical records of our patients. 

The Associate Veterinarian is an integral member of the healthcare team. It is important that this candidate can communicate compassionately and effectively with clients so that all treatment options are presented to work with the clients on making informed decisions about the care for their pet. This position will require working closely with the Client Care Team to improve on client communication and satisfaction. A consistent quality of medical care to our patients is our top priority!

Qualified candidates will possess:

  • DVM or VMD degree. New grads are encouraged to apply
  • A current Pennsylvania license or ability to become licensed in PA
  • A desire to work with clients delivering consistent quality of medical care to our patients.
  • A proven track record of collaboration 

This position includes regular day, evening, and Saturday Shifts. We offer a competitive salary, great benefits, as well as continuing education allowance!
