The Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University is building a robust Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care Service. We are seeking an enthusiastic Small Animal Emergency Clinician with a passion for teaching and patient care to join our team. You will share the duties with another ER clinician and have the opportunity to actively participate in one-on-one training of veterinary interns and students, as well as work alongside veterinary specialists to provide the highest standard of veterinary care. This is a full-time clinical track position with an excellent benefits package, including a generous sign-on bonus, 4 weeks of vacation, start-up funding for clinical equipment, and office electronics. Funding support for conference (continuing education) travel is available.

The Boren Veterinary Medical Hospital is a 145,000 sq. ft., full-service veterinary teaching hospital providing 24-hour care for all domestic and selected exotic and wildlife species. Our hospital admits more than 15,500 clinical cases per year, and hospitalizes 5-8 ICU cases per day. Our ICU is a state-of-the-art facility and is fully staffed with capable, competent technicians. We are equipped with digital radiography, MRI, CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, 24-hour access to full clinical pathology lab, oxygen cages, pulse oximetry, I-Stat point-of-care testing, telemetry, blood pressure and CVP monitoring, Pleur-Evac suction units, and ventilator therapy. 

Applicants must have a DVM degree (or equivalent) and be licensed or eligible for license to practice veterinary medicine in Oklahoma.
