Located in Aledo, TX Clear Fork Veterinary Clinic (CFVC) has immediate openings for seasoned Veterinarians or recent graduates to join our growing practice.  Whether you’re searching for a Part-time (less than 30 hours per week) or Full-time (30+ hours per week) position, we would love for you to apply!

Celebrating its 2-year anniversary in May 2020, CFVC is a privately-owned, small animal facility whose doctors offer quality care such as wellness exams, dental services, surgery, internal medicine and diagnostic imaging.  The clinic has 5 spacious exam rooms and large surgery and treatment areas equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.     CFVC is proud to bring the Tarrant and Parker County communities a high level of personal care and customer service to its clients and their pets.

Whether you’re assisting excited clients with a new dog or cat or comforting anxious owners about their injured, sick or aged pet, we are seeking veterinarians who are passionate about pet wellness.  CFVC’s purpose is to help families care for the pets they love.  It takes a dedicated team with a strong work ethic, energy and enthusiasm to handle the expected and unexpectant activities each day.  Our team takes a collaborative approach to patient care, with a focus on open communication. 

The ideal candidates will:

  • Be committed to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
  • Be honest and passionate about animal wellness and play a vital role in providing quality medicine.
  • Genuinely care for pets, fellow team members and clients.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and pet owners so that the information is easily understood.
  • Listen attentively.
  • Enjoy working with people as well as animals.
  • Be passionate about life-long learning and professional improvement.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
  • Be able to problem solve and make decisions.
  • Maintain a sense of calm during stressful situations.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Texas
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital, required
  • Ultrasound, orthopedics, surgery and advanced dental skills, preferred
  • Proficiency for companion animal preventive care
  • Strong computer skills
  • Knowledge of ezyVet software, preferred

The hours of operation for the clinic are Monday through Friday 8 am until 5:30 pm and Saturdays 8 am until noon.
