Aston Veterinary Hospital is currently seeking a full time veterinarian. We are located in southeastern Pennsylvania just 30 minutes southwest of Philadelphia.

Aston Veterinary Hospital is a progressive, full service, well established AAHA accredited small animal facility providing comprehensive progressive health care for pets. We are fully equipped with state of the art equipment including ultrasound, digital X-ray along with dental X-ray, laser and in-house Idexx Laboratory!!

The Associate veterinarian is an integral member of the healthcare team. It is important that this candidate can communicate compassionately and effectively with clients so that all treatment options are presented to work with the clients on making informed decisions about the care for their pet. 

We are looking forward to adding a Full-Time Veterinarian to our 3 doctor team due to the hospital's continued growth!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Builds a rapport with clients
  • Communicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, nutritional needs and preventative treatment
  • Performs physical exams and diagnostic-surgical-medical and dental procedures that delivers the highest quality care
  • Stays current with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine
  • Maintains client-patient medical/surgical records
  • Assists in the development of our team to ensure the highest quality of care and exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

  • DVM/VMD degree-new grads welcome
  • Licensure in good standing
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine
  • Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients
  • Commitment to ongoing educational growth

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

· DVM or VMD degree

· A current PA State License or ability to become licensed in PA

· Scheduling flexibility, including shared Sats.
