The Role

Love animals? Like people? Want to help both? There’s a place for you at Humane Veterinary Hospitals! We are looking for a Veterinarian for our Humane Veterinary Hospitals Reading.

As we continue expanding our services for pets and the people who love them, we want to hear from you – as long as you are a qualified veterinarian with a kind heart, outstanding people skills and a great work ethic.

The key responsibilities of a Veterinarian include, but are not limited to:

  • Diagnosing and treating pets.
  • Performing surgery.
  • Caring for pets.

The Company

HVH Reading an AAHA accredited multi doctor hospital with 9 exam rooms, digital radiology and dental radiology. We offer care to the community for sick and well visits, general surgery including dentistry.  Pet owners can expect to receive top-notch client amenities and the highest quality care from a well-trained, professional veterinary team.

Benefits

  • Competitive wages with benefits including: medical, dental, and vision insurance, continuing education allowance, uniform allowance and a generous signing bonus.
  • 40-hour working week, 4-5 day weekly schedule, no after hours or on-call work.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Veterinarian:

  • Veterinary practice license in Pennsylvania.
  • An appreciation for the bond between humans and animals.
  • Empathetic communication skills.
  • Spanish-speaking is a highly desirable.
