Pet Paradise is a high growth multi-unit pet care company which has distinguished itself through its comprehensive and unique pet experience.  Headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, Pet Paradise has rapidly grown to more than 40 locations and 1,200 employees across nine states with plans of doubling its footprint over the next several years.  In addition to keeping pets healthy and happy with services for boarding, day camp, grooming and veterinary care, Pet Paradise is passionate about shaping a new kind of pet care – the kind of complete pet care that centers around ensuring our guests can live their happiest, healthiest, longest life possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Practice veterinary medicine in accordance to national and state specific regulations, and principles of veterinary medical ethics.

• Practice in accordance with evidence-based medicine and current Pet Paradise minimum standards of care.
• Assist in creation and implementation of continuously enhanced veterinary best practice standards and guidelines. 
• Foster a culture of preventative healthcare through education, client partnerships and Pet Paradise Wellness Plans.
• Educate the paraprofessional team and clients while being an advocate for pet health through education, treatment plans, appointments and home healthcare recommendations to elevate the human-pet bond.
• Create and maintain complete and comprehensive patient medical records.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative veterinary and resort support team by communicating medical standards, ethical practices, and veterinary knowledge and experience
