 Winsted Hospital for Animals has a great opportunity for an enthusiastic veterinarian to join our small animal hospital. We are a three-doctor practice well-known for providing quality veterinary care for dogs and cats. The doctors believe in a great work-life balance with no emergency calls.

Our friendly atmosphere and inviting work environment boast a caring and experienced support staff, dedicated to our patients, clients, and the community.

The practice also regularly sees clients from Guiding Eyes for the Blind and ECAD, Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities. 

We are located in Barkhamsted, CT, a bedroom community of Hartford and Waterbury. The area not only offers all that those cities provide but the Farmington River provides excellent kayaking and canoeing, while the state forests have many miles of hiking trails, open year-round for outdoor recreation
