For over 50 years, we have served our community with the best veterinary medicine that is within our scope of practice. We strive to treat our clients and patients with kindness and dignity and to work within our clients' budget and lifestyle restrictions whenever possible. Our 4200 sq ft facility is nestled on 2.5 acres just inside the city limits of the quaint East TX town of Athens, about 75 miles southeast of Dallas & 40 miles west of Tyler. We have remodeled several times over the years and most recently completed a renovation in 2013. We are equipped with Idexx laboratory equipment and digital x-ray and Avimark veterinary practice software. Our boarding and grooming area is in a separate building from our hospital which makes for a quieter hospital environment. I am seeking a veterinarian who shares my core values, appreciates a little slower pace, and with an interest in ownership. The position has the flexibility to be part-time if that fits an interested candidate's lifestyle. Let's visit and see if this position is right for you!
Potential candidate must:
have a DVM degree from an AVMA accredited college of veterinary medicine
be licensed to practice in the state of Texas and be in good standing with the TSBVME
align with the values of my practice as described above
NOTES:
Additional Salary Information: I am willing to pay a contract rate. I am also willing to consider a part time position. If a candidate is interested in mixed animal practice, we could easily expand into that.
