Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat pets with illnesses and injuries
• Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in well pet care
• Perform surgeries and dentistries as needed
• Contribute to making our workplace enjoyable for all; staff, clients, and pets

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree 
• Ability to attain Massachusetts Veterinary License

Chestnut Street Animal Hospital, founded in 1996, is committed to providing the highest quality medical care in a warm, friendly, comfortable atmosphere. We enjoy cultivating a close personal bond with the Needham community and our clients in order to deliver top-notch care to our patients. Our veterinarians and staff provide a wide range of services including diagnostic testing and medical care of sick animals, wellness exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and a full range of surgical and dental services. We provide care for cats, dogs, birds, and pocket pets (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc.) We offer an on-site laboratory, digital whole body, and dental x-rays, and surgical suite. We provide ultrasounds on a scheduled basis and have a collaborative relationship with offsite specialists with whom we can instantly share test results and digital x-rays.
