We are a well-established animal hospital that has been operating in the East Village (lower Manhattan) of New York for over 20 years. We pride ourselves in compassionate, personal, veterinary care to the East Village community. We are looking for an experienced part time/per diem veterinarian to work here two days a week to start.
Our facility: Our animal hospital is two floors, fully equipped with a surgical suite, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, equipped for dentistry, diagnostic lab, and multiple exam rooms. We provide rescue work for various organizations such as the ASPCA. We provide general care to dogs, cats, and the occasional pocket pet. Our doctor has a specialized interest in surgery and would work well with a veterinarian with complementary skills.
Our location: Conveniently located by multiple subways and Union Square, the East Village is an exciting and vibrant neighborhood. 2020 has seen an increase in pet ownership and we are looking to add to our team of medical professionals.
Our team: Our veterinarian has been practicing in lower manhattan for over 20 years and looks forward to growing the practice with a like-minded professional. The support team is made up of professional and friendly New Yorkers. We are flexible and open to new ideas and will work with you to create an ideal schedule. There is room for growth and an increase in responsibility down the road.

Education and Work Experience:
DVM degree (or equivalent) with NY State Veterinary license
Foreign graduates welcome (but still need to be licensed for NY state)
Experience of at least 3 years in private practice with dogs and cats
Work Location: East Village with easy subway access
