Deer Park Animal Hospital is looking for an associate veterinarian to join our team full-time!

Deer Park is a dynamic, well-established, 7 doctor small animal hospital in western Suffolk County on Long Island, NY. We practice the highest quality medicine and surgery, which has allowed us to build our well-educated and loyal clientele. At Deer Park we have an amazingly skilled and experienced support staff, which includes 5 licensed veterinary technicians. Our hospital is fully equipped with digital radiography (including dental), ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory. We enjoy an excellent relationship with a nearby critical care and specialty hospital, so no overnight or on-call shifts are required.

We are seeking a veterinarian who is energetic, friendly, and a team-player. Experience is preferred, but we would welcome the right new graduate. Many of our doctors have developed a special focus, which we encourage and support. With a board certified internist on staff full-time, as well as an excellent team of surgeons, we are an exceptional mentoring environment.

At Deer Park, we take the health and well-being of our employees seriously, offering flexible working conditions and encouraging a well-rounded work/life balance. We offer a great compensation package, including a competitive salary, health insurance, 401K, PTO, generous CE allowance, additional PTO for CE, up to $10,000 sign on bonus, and reimbursement for membership dues and license fees. If this sounds like a team you want to be a part of, please email your resume to Dr. Shelly Wazyniak at swazyniak@petvetcarecenters.com or apply at https://www.petvetcareers.com/.
