Williamsburg Veterinary Clinic, a CareVet partner, has a new opportunity for a Full-Time or Part-Time Associate Veterinarian who wants to practice high quality medicine while having fun doing what we all love in the Williamsburg, VA area (Relief Coverage would be considered).

Williamsburg Veterinary Clinic is a three-doctor practice looking to add another experienced Veterinarian to the team, as we continue to expand our already impressive clinic. We will be expanding into an adjoining space in early 2021, increasing both our overall size and number of exam rooms. Our current demand for services will allow the incoming Veterinarian to “hit the ground running” and quickly build his or her patient base. Our staff works amazingly well together, and we enjoy each other's company while at work. Veterinary medicine is stressful, and we take our jobs seriously, but we try to have fun every day. Sense of humor and excellent interpersonal skills are required.

Our hospital:

  • Founded in 2014 by Dr. Terry DeWitt
  • Five exam rooms with dedicated surgery and radiology suites
  • Open treatment area with many treatment stations
  • We treat both small animals and exotics, including animals from Busch Gardens Williamsburg
  • Excellent experienced veterinary technicians and assistants
  • 30-minute appointments
  • Currently offering drop-off, curbside, and virtual options to ensure the safety of our clients and staff during the current pandemic.
  • Professional growth opportunity for the incoming veterinarian, with potential Medical Directorship

Williamsburg, located in the beautiful coastal region of Eastern Virginia, is a thriving community offering ample opportunities for indoor and outdoor activities, including the world’s largest living history museum in Colonial Williamsburg, amusement parks like Busch Gardens and Water Country USA, and national and state parks with excellent hiking, biking, and other recreational activities. Forming the “historic triangle” together with Jamestown and Yorktown, Williamsburg is a city rich in culture and history, having been the state capital from 1699 to 1780.

Our partnership with CareVet provides our veterinarians with benefits such as:

  • Competitive Compensation packages including Base Salaries with % Production
  • Signing and Relocation Bonuses
  • A Robust Benefits Package including Medical, Dental, & Vision insurance & 401k with match
  • Employee Assistance Program with a focus on compassion fatigue & stress support
  • Vision for continuous advancement of patient care and services, including company paid dues and a focus on CE opportunities
