Charleston Veterinary Referral Center is seeking an additional full-time or part-time Emergency Clinician to join our emergency and critical care department.
Our facility is located 10 minutes from beautiful downtown Charleston, SC in the heart of the Lowcountry. In 2011 we built a 16,000 square foot state of the art facility with a full in-house lab, 4 slice helical CT, high field MRI, EMG, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, in house blood bank, full-service sports medicine, and rehabilitation department, and a dedicated university quality intensive care unit including mechanical ventilation capabilities. Additionally, we have a full endoscopy suite (flexible and rigid), Stryker 1188 system for minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, arthroscopy), and Ligasure system. In 2012 we were awarded the Veterinary Economics Hospital Conversion of the Year and most recently we were awarded VECCS Level 1 Certification. We are the ONLY Level 1 Certified Facility in South Carolina!
CVRC has specialists in the disciplines of Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology/Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Oncology, Rehabilitation, Critical Care, Theriogenology and a highly-trained team of emergency clinicians. The emergency department is supported by board-certified surgeons, criticalists and internists available 24 hours a day.
