Small animal veterinary center in Willoughby, Ohio is seeking a full time associate to join our team of exceptionally dedicated care givers. Located in a unique community, this facility performs both regular and advance care for small animals.

Mentorship opportunities available if needed.

We are supported by a a dedicated team of registered technicians and trained assistants.

Schedule is flexible, and can be any combination of surgeries and appointments as desired. We are fully equipped with all the modern technical devices: digital x-ray and a fully equipped dental suite with digital x-ray, handheld Nomad x-ray unit for intraoperative and exam room use, GE ultrasound with color flow doppler, flexible and rigid video scopes for GI, laparoscopy, and arthroscopy, Synthes bone plating, TTA equipment set up, video otoscopy and ear irrigation set up, regenerative therapy system for PRP and stem cell applications, diagnostic thermography, DIA client education system, Companion 15 watt therapy laser, 3 Engler ventilators which all anesthesia cases are ventilated.

The salary is competitive based on a pro-sal formula and negotiable and benefits include paid time off, continuing education, professional dues, health insurance, maternity leave, and no after hours emergency duty. We are closed on Sundays and holidays. $10,000 signing bonus.

We utilize 30 minute appointments to allow time for client education and a complete workup and patient documentation. This area offers quick access to Lake Erie fun, winter and summer activities and the cultural and entertainment environment of a large city only 30 minutes away.

Dr. Robert Slobody founded Meadowlands Veterinary Center in Willoughby, Ohio in 1986. Dr. Sarah McKinley graduated OSU CVM in 2015, and has worked at Meadowlands ever since. Meadowlands Veterinary Center is a full service animal hospital offering superior animal care to dogs, cats and pocket pets with outpatient, surgical and dental care. Having our own in house lab, digital radiology and pharmacy provides the client with immediate treatment plans and answers for their pet. Meadowlands is a state of the art facility offering orthopedics, laparoscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound, laser therapy, radiofrequency surgery, full dental services, and regenerative medicine.
