Veterinary Recruiter

With more than 330 general, specialty and emergency hospitals, PetVet Care Centers is a nationwide veterinary network with a solid commitment to every community we serve. 

Reporting to the Vice President of Talent Acquisition, the Veterinary Recruiter will work closely with Hospital Medical Directors, Managers and our Business Operations team to attract, secure and retain exceptional veterinarians.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive in-network and external Referrals
  • Develop an understanding of the services, equipment and opportunities in each location
  • Develop and maintain current, effective sourcing material and job ads
  • Work closely with our Sourcing team to execute targeted campaigns and social media content
  • Stay current on new avenues to connect with talent
  • Conduct thorough screening interviews with candidates
  • Compose, discuss and assist with the negotiation of employment contracts
  • Build and maintain relationships with regional campus contacts
  • Accurately track key recruiting and retention metrics

Specific requirements include:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Veterinarian, Veterinary Practice Manager, Veterinary Business Operations professional, or other veterinary-related supervisory role.
  • Experience with small animal emergency practices + equine and/or mixed animal practices is preferred
  • Strong communication, multi-tasking and PC skills (Excel, Linkedin, Word, Adobe, ability to grasp new platforms/software intuitively)
  • Strong interpersonal and business partnering skills

This is a full time, remote position.
