Position Overview

Location

Kinard Animal Hospital is located in Greenwood, South Carolina. Our “small” town is home to an eleven-thousand-acre lake, numerous golf courses, parks, and campgrounds. We host unique events from concerts to Bar-Be-Que cook-offs, art exhibits to theatrical performances, your calendar will be filled with fun! Looking for some city life? Take a quick fifty-five-mile drive to downtown Greenville.

 

Practice Overview

Here at Kinard Animal Hospital, we believe preventive care is more effective than treatment. We house state-of-the-art equipment such as digital radiography, laser therapy, and a cutting-edge diagnostic laboratory in order to provide our staff valuable information to care for our clients. We promote a healthy -work-life balance, which is why our foundation is based on the following statement: “Work should provide for your quality of life and not be your quality of life.”  We are currently working to transition from our current 3200 sq ft clinic to a 7800 sq ft hospital!  So excited!

 

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of small animal cases
  • Perform routine exams and surgical procedures
  • Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care
  • Guide and utilize exceptional support staff
  • Maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork

 

Qualifications

  • Possess a DVM or equivalent degree
  • Be licensed or able to be licensed to practice in South Carolina
  • Minimum of one year of experience, but new graduates encouraged to apply
  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for building relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
