Our large modern progressive, private/family-owned animal hospitals are located in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Due to the growth of our affluent community and practice, we are currently looking to hire a new full-time associate to join our team of experienced veterinarians. Both facilities are very busy practices with 8 exam rooms, large surgical suites, and treatment areas, the newest Cuattro radiograph technology, in house Heska blood machines that include progesterone, thyroid, and cortisol capabilities, therapeutic cold laser, ultrasound, tonopen,endoscope and more. Our clientele is loyal, compliant, and treats us like part of their family. We have a phenomenal support staff and operate as a team where everybody helps each other until the job is completed. We are looking for outgoing doctors with strong communication skills and medical competency to fill a full-time position and expand our NEW Urgent Care hours. We prefer doctors with surgical experience but can mentor those who wish to become more proficient. For new graduates we do offer longer appointment times and mentoring. We offer a 4-5-day work week with rotating weekends! New graduates with a strong desire to excel in medicine and surgery are encouraged to apply.
Our group of doctors is collaborative between the 2 hospitals with a variety of strengths and interests. We also have an extended support network of specialists (orthopedics, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, emergency, and tertiary facilities) locally who are available for consults. A generous salary that is commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer dental/medical/vision, CE/Licensure stipends, and paid vacation.
